MEASURE AIR POLLUTION

Use a particulate matter sensor to sense the air

Curious or concerned about the air pollution levels in your area? You can equip your Aerocene Backpack with a DustDuino sensing device, provided by Public Lab. The DustDuino is a particulate matter sensor that monitors PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations, indoors or outdoors. As Public Lab notes, “the health effects attributed to outdoor fine particulate matter (PM2.5) rank it among the risk factors with the highest health impacts in the world.”

If you would like to borrow a DustDuino to measure air quality with your aerosolar sculpture, write to us at info@aerocene.com.

DustDuino is an open-source add-on. Learn how to build your own DustDuino sensor here: https://publiclab.org/wiki/dustduino
